Arthur Pneuman Shrimp - Joe's Old Lures

Not much is known about St. Augustine lure maker Arthur H. Pneuman. He was associated with Ben Smith Lures, Inc. before he began making his own plastic shrimp lure in the 1950's. The Pneuman Shrimp was made of two plastic body sections joined by a short piece of bead chain. The weighted head has a metal plate with two holes for attaching a fishing line.
The Pneuman Srimp lure was packaged in a rather nondescript two piece plastic box. It is very difficult to photograph, but the edges of the box top and bottom are etched Pneuman St. Augustine FLA.
The Pneuman name is etched in the edges of the plastic box.
